PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation technique capable of improving convenience of a user in releasing designation of an interchange on a guide route.SOLUTION: A navigation device for performing route guidance for a mobile object includes: a route guidance section which guides a route including a section of an expressway with a designated interchange as a gateway and detects a deviation of the mobile object from the route; and a reroute section which reroutes the route when the route guidance section detects the deviation of the mobile object from the route. The reroute section releases the designation of the designated exit interchange and reroutes when it is determined that road types of roads on which mobile objects both before and after detecting the deviation from the route are the expressways. |
