The present invention relates to a power supply device, which supplies power to a predetermined load connected to a secondary side electrically insulated from a primary side by switching input power inputted to the primary side, and a control circuit for the same. The control circuit of the present invention generates a predetermined PWM signal, applies the PWM signal to a dimming switch connected to an end of a load, and controls a switching frequency of a primary side based on a control voltage generated according to a feedback signal depending on power supplied to the load and the PWM signal, wherein a voltage variation of the control voltage is uniformly maintained regardless of the duty of the PWM signal.
