<p>An apparatus to heat exchange and mix fluid media comprises a housing (2) wherein a structure (4) is arranged inside. The structure (4) comprises a first hollow structure (5) and a second hollow structure (105). Moreover, a first fluid (6) is passing through the first hollow structure (5), and a second fluid (7) is passing around the first hollow structure (5). The second fluid (7) is passing through an inlet cross section of the housing (2) along a main flow direction (76) arranged along a vertical shaft (3) of the housing (2). The second hollow structure (105) is provided, and the first fluid (6) can be flowing through the same, and the second fluid (7) can be flowing around the same. Moreover, the second hollow structure is cross-arranged with respect to the first hollow structure. The hollow structures (5, 105) have a flow cross section having a first width (B1) and a second width (B2), and the value of B1/B2 is greater than 1. Moreover, the first width (B1) is oriented to be perpendicular to a plane including the vertical shaft (3) of the housing, or a line in parallel with the vertical shaft and a shaft of the hollow structures (5, 105).</p> |
