PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a ventilation valve so that a passenger in a car does not have a lack of oxygen in an elevator that includes the car having an airtight structure.SOLUTION: An elevator 20 includes: a car 10; air tightness adjustment means 5 for adjusting atmospheric pressure within the car 10; a door switch 2 for detecting opening/closing of a door 11 of the car; a load sensor 4 for detecting a load of the car; a ventilation valve 6 for ventilating inside of the car; and an elevator control device 1 for controlling lifting/lowering of the car. The air tightness adjustment means estimates a carbon dioxide gas concentration within the car when the car reaches a target floor by using an actual measurement value of door opening/closing time detected by the door switch, the load detected by the load sensor, the volume of the car and an operation signal transmitted from the elevator control device. When the estimated value exceeds a predetermined reference value, the car is stopped on the nearest floor and is ventilated by opening the car or by opening the ventilation valve. |
