PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery module in which output is hard to degrade with time, having excellent power generation efficiency for an extended period.SOLUTION: A solar battery module includes a solar battery cell 10, a surface protection layer 30 arranged on a light receiving surface side of the solar battery cell through a sealing material layer 20a, and a rear surface protection layer 50 arranged on a non light receiving surface side of the solar battery cell through a sealing material layer 40a. The surface protection layer 30 is made from a resin film which is gas permeable. An ion non-permeable layer 61 is arranged between the solar battery cell 10 and the rear surface protection layer 50, and/or, a gas barrier property layer 62 is arranged between the solar battery cell 10 and the surface protection layer 30. A sealing material layer 41 made from the resin containing no free acid is arranged between the gas barrier property layer 62 and/or the ion non-permeable layer 61, and the solar battery cell 10. The sealing material layer 20a made from the resin containing ethylene-vinyl acetate polymer is arranged to adjoin the surface protection layer 30. |
