PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording device which can discharge a photocuring type ink composition having excellent curability with excellent discharge stability.SOLUTION: An ink-jet recording device includes: a liquid jetting head having a pressure generation chamber in which a photocuring type ink composition containing a compound with a polymerizable functional group and water is filled, a nozzle for jetting an ink droplet, and pressure generation means; and a jetting pulse generation part which drives the pressure generation means. A jetting pulse includes a first voltage change element A which expands a volume of the pressure generation chamber and draws a meniscus in the nozzle, a second voltage change element B which contracts the volume of the pressure generation chamber and extrudes the meniscus from the nozzle after the first voltage change element; a third voltage change element C which brings a volume expansion change of expanding the pressure generation chamber after the second voltage change element, and a fourth voltage change element D which brings a volume contraction change of contracting the pressure generation chamber after the third voltage change element. The ink droplet is discharged from the nozzle by the jetting pulse. |
