<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strength improver and the like which improve (maintain) strength development of concrete even in a dry state.SOLUTION: A concrete strength improver improves the strength of concrete put in a dry state and is a compound represented by following formula (a): RO(AO)nH (a), where R represents an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms or a phenyl group, A represents an ethylene group and/or a propylene group, and n represents a number from 1 to 10. The concrete strength improver preferably has an HLB (hydrophile-lipophile balance) value, calculated by following formula (1), of not less than 8 and less than 20: HLB value=20×(the formula weight of O(AO)nH in formula (a))/(the molecular weight of formula (a)) (1).</p> |
