a calling module (CM) for locating presumably present elements in the image (10) and calling the decision module (DM) regarding each presumably present element, andthe decision module (DM) is adapted for taking into account, examining the presence of the element, at least one further probability map other than the probability map (11) associated with the category of the element.

generating probability maps (111-n) in association with each of categories on a basis of visual information detectable in the image (10), the probability map (11) showing presence probability distribution of an element (16) of the given category, and making decision in respect of presence of elements (16) of the categories on the basis of analysing the probability maps (111-n),characterized by
examining for each category whether there are presumably present elements in the image (10), and in making the decision regarding the presence of each presumably present element (16), at least one further probability map (11) in addition to the probability map (11) associated with the category of the element (16) is taken into account.
