Disclosed are a call processing method, device and mobility management entity (MME), the method comprising: an MME receives a first circuit domain paging request transmitted by an MSC to instruct a terminal to drop back in a circuit domain; the MME determines that the terminal is in a connection state, and transmits a circuit domain paging notification to the terminal according to the first circuit domain paging request; the MME determines that the terminal does not normally respond to the circuit domain paging notification, and communicates with an evolved node B (eNodeB) to switch the state of the terminal to an idle state; the MME transmits a second circuit domain paging request to the terminal according to the first circuit domain paging request, such that an additional paging operation on a terminal not only timely notifies the MSC to suspend the forward waiting operation when an exception occurs on the terminal so as to save network resources, but also provides an additional chance of terminal paging so as to improve the voice call success rate of the terminal.
