A pyridopyrimidine derivatives-containing pharmaceutical composition promotes differentiation of osteoblast to increase the bone mass and bone density, and thus is useful for not only preventing and treating bone diseases, but also forming bones during the growth period. Moreover, the pharmaceutical composition of the present invention can be used as medicines for various kinds of metabolic bone diseases like renal osteodystrophy, osteomalacia, Pagets disease, and dysostosis, and also can be used as medicines for treating fracture and controlling bone metastasis.
