PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid propulsion system, which for making operation of a hybrid vessel more efficient, makes output from a main engine as constant as possible to enable effective use of a power storage means for a long term, and a hybrid propulsion vessel equipped with the same.SOLUTION: A hybrid propulsion system comprises: a MG 12 driven by a main engine 10; plural storage batteries 24 storing electric power generated by the MG 12; an auxiliary propulsion means 14 supplementarily propelling a vessel; an auxiliary drive means 12 driving the auxiliary propulsion means 14 with electric power; and a control means 28 controlling supply of electric power among the MG 12, the storage means and the auxiliary drive means. |
