PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intaglio printing machine which can prevent defective printing caused by an ink film thickness of an inking device before printing and useless consumption of ink.SOLUTION: An intaglio printing machine comprises: a plate cylinder 14; a wiping roller 19; an impression cylinder 13; and an inking device 17. The inking device 17 includes an inkpot device 25 comprising: a pot roller 26; a pot roller drive motor 42; an inkpot 30 in which ink I is stocked; an inkpot key 33 which is movably supported at the tip of the inkpot 30 to adjust a gap G between the inkpot 30 and the pot roller 26; and an inkpot key adjustment motor 43 which adjusts movement amount of the inkpot key 33. The intaglio printing machine includes a controller 40 which controls the inkpot key adjustment motor 43 and the pot roller drive motor 42 so that the inkpot key 33 is closed and the pot roller 26 is rotated to recover the ink I on various rollers 26, 27, 28, 29 of the inking device 17 into the inkpot 30 during printing. |
