The present invention addresses the problem of making a robot slim while ensuring that there is a hollow region in an actuating body. To solve the problem, a robot (1) according to an embodiment has an actuating body (24) provided with an actuating device (28) for actuating bodies (25, 26) to be actuated. The actuating device (28) is provided with a plurality of hollow shafts (283, 284) and actuating units (281, 282). The plurality of hollow shafts (283, 284) are disposed concentrically with each other. The plurality of actuating units (281, 282) are disposed along a circumferential direction of the hollow shafts (283, 284).
