PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo-electric hybrid module having excellent folding resistance of itself and excellent mounting property for an optical element.SOLUTION: A core 2 for an optical path is formed on a surface of an underclad layer 1 of an optical waveguide W, as well as a dummy core 8 not used for an optical path is disposed as protruding, spaced from both sides of the core 2 for the optical path; and an electric circuit 4 having a mounting pad 4a is formed on a top face of the dummy core 8. An overclad layer 3 is formed in a convex shape covering the core 2 along a side face and a top face of the core 2. The dummy core 8 not used for an optical path has an elastic modulus set to be higher than an elastic modulus of the under clad layer 1 and an elastic modulus of the overclad layer 3. An optical element 5 mounted on the mounting pad 4a is positioned above the protruding overclad layer 3.
