PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for knitting a knitted fabric in which a lateral end part is strengthened, having the size of a knitted loop being similar to a ground knitted fabric without roughening the knitted loop, and moderate elasticity. ! SOLUTION: A body part 3 as a ground knitted fabric is knitted in tubular, and in S2, knitting on a right side of a branch part of a V neck part 5 as an open end is knitted as a first step. Using FD, a right side of a front panel as the ground knitted fabric is knitted from a far side from the open end to the open end. As a second step, a knitted loop line of a rear needle bed side of a double-layer hollow structure part 1 is knitted for two knitted loops, and in S3-S4, the knitted loop line of the rear needle bed side of the double-layer hollow structure is transferred from FD to BU so as to approach to the right for one knitting needle gap, and a knitting loop line of a front needle bed side is distributed to be knitted in FD.
