<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nightstick useful for guarding oneself, for example, when a person is unexpectedly assaulted by a thug. <P>SOLUTION: This flash nightstick is composed of an expandable and contractible telescope-type nightstick main body 10 composed of a plurality of metallic cylindrical bodies of various thicknesses, a flashlight 20 mounted on a tip of the thinnest cylindrical body among the plurality of cylindrical bodies, a nightstick grip portion 30 formed on the thickest cylindrical body among the plurality of cylindrical bodies, and an image pick-up portion 40 mounted on a part of the nightstick grip portion 30 for picking up an image of an object illuminated by the flashlight 20. The nightstick main body 10 is constituted in such manner that the plurality of cylindrical bodies can be expanded by one swing of the flash nightstick 1 in a state of gripping the nightstick grip portion 30, and a light switch 21 is mounted to turn the flashlight on simultaneously with the expanding of the plurality of metallic cylindrical bodies. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
