<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device of a light emitting display panel, suppressing an excessive voltage applied to a driving circuit accompanying reset operation and assuring stable lighting drive operation. <P>SOLUTION: As shown in Fig. 6, the driving device is constituted so that driving switches Sa1 to Sam in a data driver 2 and scanning switches Sk1 to Skn in a scanning driver 3 are connected to the ground which is a reference potential point, while the reset operation for removing charges stored in a parasitic capacitance of organic electroluminescence elements E11 to Emn is performed. At the beginning of reset operation, a variable resistance Ron3 which is inserted between the scanning switches Sk1 to Skn and the ground is made high, and becomes lower, as the reset operation period elapses. Thereby, it is suppressed that the excessive negative voltage is applied to the data driver 2 following on discharge of a reverse bias voltage Vm which is stored in the parasitic capacitance of the organic electroluminescence elements E11 to Emn. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
