<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque assist control unit that obviates necessity for control mode switching operation and further makes it possible to obtain an appropriate acceleration according to a driver's accelerator operation. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle 10 includes an engine 32, and a drive motor 34 that adds power to power generated by the engine 32 in a superposed manner and assists the engine. A torque assist control unit 150 includes a fourth rotor sensor 118a as vehicle speed sensor that detects the vehicle speed V of the hybrid vehicle 10; an accelerator sensor 152 that detects an amount of accelerator operation Acc; and ECU 158 provided with an assist map 190 in which output command reference values Com0 for the drive motor 34 are defined based on vehicle speed V and an amount of accelerator operation Acc. The ECU 158 outputs to the drive motor 34 a corrected output command value Com1 obtained by adding an additional value Ad corresponding to a rate of change ΔAcc, in an amount of accelerator operation Acc to an output command reference value Com0 obtained from the assist map 190. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
