The power conversion unit is detachably connected to an electric vehicle having an electric motor as a power source and has a function that supplies power discharged from the electric vehicle to a power distribution network that supplies power received from a power grid to a plurality of loads. The prediction unit predicts an excess period in which the sum of the power demand by the plurality of loads connected to the power distribution network will exceed a prescribed limit. The notification unit makes a notification requesting that the electric vehicle is connected to the power conversion unit and made capable of discharging during the excess period predicted by the prediction unit.</p>
