<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of manufacturing a circular curved glass plate having a large central angle. <P>SOLUTION: A mold 10 whose outer shape has a columnar shape is disposed in such a way that the central axis C is made horizontal, and in a state that a glass plate 11 is put on the mold 10, the glass plate 11 is heated and softened, the central part 11a of the glass plate 11 is curved along the outer peripheral surface 10a of the mold 10 and both ends 11b, 11c of the glass plate 11 are located below the central axis C of the mold 10. The softened glass plate 11 is cooled and hardened in a state that both ends 11b, 11c of the softened glass plate 11 not curving along the outer peripheral surface 10a of the mold 10 are biased toward the center side of the mold 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
