The method involves inserting a keg fitting (2) i.e. closure, into a plastic container (10) by relative movement between the keg fitting and the plastic container, where the plastic container is filled with fluid (12). The keg fitting is connected with the plastic container, and a cleaning process of the keg fitting is performed during insertion or connection of the keg fitting. A region of the keg fitting arranged in the interior of the manufactured container is cleaned. An independent claim is also included for a device for manufacturing a fluid filled plastic container. |
