PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive transfer recording medium in which transfer sensitivity upon high speed printing is high, namely, dye used for a dye layer can be reduced, and, even after preservation at high temperature under high moisture over a long period, abnormal transfer in printing can be prevented, and shininess can be reduced.SOLUTION: In the thermosensitive transfer recording medium, one side of a base material 10 is provided with a heat resistant lubricating layer 40, and an undercoat layer 20 and a dye layer 30 are successively formed on the other side of the base material 10. In the thermosensitive transfer recording medium, the undercoat layer 20 includes, as the main components: at least any one of alkoxide, the hydrolysate thereof and tin chloride; a vinylpyrrolidone-vinylcaprolactam copolymer; a water-soluble polymer; and an urethane resin. |
