<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency/time synchronization device which can reduce overhead of the device in realizing frequency synchronization and time synchronization, compared to a conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: In a frequency/time synchronization method which performs frequency synchronization and time synchronization between devices connected via a packet network, an upper side device transmits signals including frequency information to be synchronized with a standard frequency, after superimposing time synchronization packets including time information to be synchronized with reference time on the signals. A lower side device which receives the signals, extracts and uses the frequency information included in the signals for time count-up of its own device, and sets time of its own device by using the time information included in the time synchronization packets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
