According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display apparatus includes a liquid crystal display panel, a sensing substrate, and an adhesive. The liquid crystal display panel includes a first substrate including a pixel electrode, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer and a pixel. The pixel electrode includes a primary pixel electrode. The common electrode includes a pair of primary common electrodes. The sensing substrate is configured to detect positional information of a location input. The adhesive joins the liquid crystal display panel and the sensing substrate. |
