PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the finish of the final caulking from having effects on the external appearance while eliminating the need for masking work for caulking. SOLUTION: A structure for mounting a post-mounted window shutter comprises a guide rail backing frame 5 in which a window shutter guide rail 2 is mounted on the tip side and in which a mounting side 52 on the base end side comes into contact with an outer wall W and is fixed to the outer wall W with a screw 8, a caulking C installed in the space between the mounting side 52 and the outer wall W, and a decorative cover 6 which is fitted to the base end side of the backing frame 5 so as to cover the mounting side 52, the head of the screw 8, and the caulking C.
