<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distinct picked-up image having little noise by decreasing the noise component contained in the picked-up image. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus where a subject image is formed on an imaging device and converted into an electrical signal and fetched is provided with a tripod detection means for detecting whether or not a camera is fixed on a tripod; and an ISO sensitivity changing means for changing ISO sensitivity, when photographing. When that the camera is fixed on the tripod is detected, the ISO sensitivity is automatically shifted by predetermined amount by the ISO sensitivity changing means. When a predetermined photographic mode is selected by a user, the setting of the ISO sensitivity changing means is released, even when detecting that the camera is fixed on the tripod. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
