<p>The invention relates to a battery with a connecting element for electrically connecting at least two battery cells (12, 14), which are connected electrically in parallel, of the battery (10) to contact points, via which a basic body of the connecting element (18) is coupled to terminals of the same polarity of the battery cells (12, 14), connected electrically in parallel, and with a collecting region (20), via which, during operation of the battery (10), the electrical currents of the at least two battery cells (12, 14) connected electrically in parallel flow. The connecting element (18) has a line cross section which tapers from the collecting region (20) towards an end region (22) of the connecting element (18), wherein, in the end region (22), the line cross section is reduced to a fraction of the line cross section in the collecting region (20), which fraction corresponds to a unit fraction with the number of contact points associated with the terminals of the same polarity of the battery cells (12, 14), connected electrically in parallel, in the denominator.</p> |
