<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device for a game and its program wherein games is permitted to proceed without requiring players to participate in all matches of a match game and the players are allowed to freely participate in each match. <P>SOLUTION: The server device 51 for the game is provided with a rank calculation part 73 for calculating a total score till the termination time of each match for each player, a group division part 74 for dividing the players into a plurality of groups based on the total score, and a match combination part 75 for performing match combination between players in each group. The players in the group having the same total score at the termination time of each match are made to match.
