<p>The invention relates to a torque rod bracket 16 for mounting a torque rod on the housing 12 of a tag axle 10, where the torque rod bracket comprises at least two bracket parts 18, 20 arranged at a distance from each other and each bracket part having at least two connecting arms 21, 22 being arranged at a distance from each other. A connecting part 24 interconnects the bracket parts and at least a portion 28 of each connecting arm has the form of an upside down T configured to be welded to the axle housing. The bracket parts and connecting parts may be formed in one piece and may include at least one weight reduction through opening 32. The bracket may include a mounting block 34 attached to the bracket parts and the mounting block may include a receptacle 36 for receiving the torque rod.</p> |
