PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a communication path which may cause missing of data or delay for communication of a synchronization signal between an X-ray generator and an imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: When the X-ray generator 3 sends a radiation permission demand signal, the imaging apparatus 1 carries out a preparing operation in response to the demand signal and returns a permission signal concurrently with entering an image receiving operation. The X-ray generator 3 starts radiation upon receiving the permission signal. A time limit is specified for the time difference between a permission demand signal transmission and a permission signal reception, and delayed permission signals exceeding the time limit are invalidated. The X-ray generator 3 is regulated not to radiate X-ray for a period exceeding a predetermined maximum time. The imaging apparatus 1 has a capacity to store received images for at least a period of "the time out period plus the maximum radiation time minus the preparing operation period". |
