Provided is a hot-working tool having superior seize resistance. The present embodiment of a hot-working tool is provided with a substrate and a plating film. The plating film is formed at the substrate surface. Furthermore, the plating film contains, by mass%, 36-44% of W, the remainder comprising Ni and impurities, and has a Vickers hardness of at least 900. Preferably, the plating film having a Vickers hardness of at least 900 is formed by means of heat treatment at a furnace temperature of at least 350°C and an in-furnace time of no greater than one hour. |
