PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a start control device which achieves improved fuel economy and enables a start without giving displeasure to a driver, in a vehicle including a belt type continuously variable transmission device and having an idle-stop function. SOLUTION: A vehicle A mounted with a start control device C includes an engine E, a belt type continuously variable transmission device 7, and an oil pump 6 operated by receiving power from the engine E. In the vehicle A, line pressure interacts to each hydraulic operating device by operation of the oil pump 6, and such a state is obtained that power of the engine E can be transmitted to the belt type continuously variable transmission device 7. The start control device C performs such control that opening of a throttle S becomes large gradually under conditions that when a vehicle A being automatically stopped by the idle-stop function is re-started, the engine speed E reaches the predetermined speed or more, line pressure supplied to each hydraulic operating device reaches the predetermined value or more, further, the start clutch 50 begins to engage.
