The present invention provides a fuel surplus metering apparatus for a fuel tank of a two-wheel motorcycle, which can prevent a floater from interfering the inner wall surface of the fuel tank, and can detect the surplus of the fuel tank (25) with the inner wall surface (45), wherein the inner wall surface (45) tilts towards the lower portion of the body of the two-wheel motorcycle (1) in a manner of expanding outwards from the body of the motorcycle. The fuel surplus metering apparatus is provided with a floater (60) on the liquid surface of fuel, arms (70) connected with the floater (60), and a rotation angle sensor (80) supporting the other end portion of the arms (70) and detecting the angle change of the arms (70), the floater (60) is configured to approach the inner wall surface of the fuel tank (25) with the increase of the fuel inside the fuel tank (25), and on the floater (60), when the fuel reaches to the periphery of an F point of a full tank inside the fuel tank (25), between the floater (60) and the inner wall surface (45) there is provided a specified gap (L), and the floater (60) is parallel with the inner wall surface, a chamfered portion (62) opposite to the inner wall surface (45) is formed. |
