<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device having a structure that suppresses a leakage of laser beams toward an outside, and can emit beams having little danger. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device has a semiconductor laser element; a light guide member 130 optically connected to the semiconductor laser element; and a light component which is attached to near an end on the emission side of the light guide member, and has an opening 115 which can emit beams from the semiconductor laser element. The opening 115 is arranged in an area different from an intersection with a center axis of the light guide member 130, has a wavelength conversion member 114 which is arranged between the end of the light guide member 130 and the opening 115, absorbs at least a part of beams from the semiconductor laser element, and emits beams having a different wavelength. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
