A method, apparatus and system for image processing

First and second images (905) of a scene are captured using an image sensor in a first and second, different, position respectively. Shift correction transformation is performed on the first and second images using first and second shift correction parameters (910) respectively. A third image may be captured as the image sensor moves from the first to the second position and shift correction transformation can be performed on this third image using a third shift correction parameter based on an interpolation of the first and second shift correction parameters. The shift correction parameters may be angles indicating the amount of the transformation to be applied to the images. Horizontal or vertical shift correction transformation may be performed. The transformation may be performed on a scaled down version of the image to reduce processing requirement to produce a preview.
