<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a radio terminal 60 of the necessity of charging at an appropriate time at the time of a planned outage. <P>SOLUTION: A charging system 10 adaptable to a planned outage includes a position information server 20 and an outage information notice server 30. The position information server 20 stores information on an area of a radio base station 52 in which a radio terminal 60 communicates with the radio base station 52. The outage information notice server 30 maps a planned outage area indicating an area where a planned outage is implemented, onto the area of the radio base station 52, and distributes the planned outage data over the area of the radio base station 52 that contains the planned outage area. The radio terminal 60 receives the planned outage data. After that, if the radio terminal 60 determines that an estimated stop time of a battery 66 mounted on the radio terminal 60 calculated on the basis of the residual capacity, comes earlier than the planned outage end time, the radio terminal 60 gives an alert for charging. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
