摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic field probe device, using an electric or magnetic optical effect with a liquid crystal deflector, capable of moving a measuring point by an applied voltage in particular. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic field probe device includes an electric (or magnetic) optical crystal, an optical source outputting first polarization, a first crystal system condensing to the optical crystal, a second optical system guiding polarization (second polarization) transmitted through at least a part of the optical crystal and provided with electric field (magnetic field) information to a photoelectric converter, a detection optical system converting a variable component of the second polarization into a light intensity, a photoelectric converter outputting an optical output of the detection optical system as an electric signal, an output circuit externally outputting the photoelectric converter output, one or more polarization adjustment means containing one or more liquid crystal deflectors disposed on an optical path from the optical source to a photoelectric detector and electrically converting a deflection amount at an optical crystal surface, and a control circuit adjusting the polarization adjustment means using the photoelectric converter output and maintaining the first or the second polarization in a predetermined condition.
