PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding container, which facilitates a user to put a load in and out from the side, and has higher strength than a conventional one. SOLUTION: In the folding container 10, a side wall protrusion 35 for a hinge which protrudes from the lower end of a first side wall 30 to the inside is received in a bottom wall recess 20 for a hinge of a bottom wall 15, and the edge of the side wall 35 protrusion for a hinge is turnably coupled with the bottom wall 15. By opening a side door 40, while maintaining the first side wall 30 in a standing state, the load is put in and out from the side through a side wall opening 30W of the first side wall 30.
