<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding roller capable of lengthening the maintaining period of paper feeding performance, even when feeding powdered paper. <P>SOLUTION: An elastic layer 2 is formed on an outer peripheral surface of a hub 1, and a plurality of recessed grooves 21 extending in the axial direction are formed at predetermined pitches in the peripheral direction on an outer peripheral surface of the elastic layer 2. A surface (an outer peripheral surface of a part except for the recessed groove, a bottom surface and a side wall surface of the recessed groove) of the elastic layer 2 is formed as a crimp surface composed of a crest-shaped part and a trough-shaped part. A rate of the area of the bottom surface of the recessed groove 21 to the outer peripheral area of the part except for the recessed groove 21 of the elastic layer 2, is set in a range of 10 to 20%, and the depth of the recessed groove is set in a range of 0.2 to 1.5 mm, and the height of the crest-shaped part constituting the crimp surface is set in a range of 20 to 70 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
