<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately display a button for a user to interactively operate a content to be reproduced. <P>SOLUTION: When only one button image is associated with a state of the button, and the state results from automatic transition from a selecting state or a command executed by the executing state switches pages, the one button image is displayed only for one frame period to execute the command. On the other hand, when not so, the state is displayed for a predetermined time (e.g., 500 msec) so as to clearly present it to the user to execute the command. When the state of the bottom is associated with sound data and one button image, the command is executed after completion of reproduction of the sound data.
