The present invention relates to a memory including a virtual cache and a management method thereof. The objective of the present invention is to provide a memory system without performance deterioration and power waste due to cache miss which occurs when a cache memory is recovered from a low power mode. The present invention provides a main memory which includes a virtual cache space to store cache data stored in a cache memory before power to the cache memory is locked. When power is supplied to the cache memory again, the data stored in the virtual cache space is copied back to the cache memory in bulk. |
