The present invention relates to an optical waveguide sensor including a reflection layer and a sensing system using the same. The present invention can use a single port as an I/O port and can reduce the size of the optical waveguide sensor to reduce the size of the sensing system. The sensing system according to the present invention includes an optical waveguide device. The optical waveguide device includes an optical waveguide element with an optical waveguide, the I/O port, and the reflection layer. The I/O port is installed on a surface of the optical waveguide element exposing an end of the optical waveguide. The reflection layer is formed on the other surface of the optical waveguide element exposing an end of the optical waveguide. The reflection layer also reflects the light which enters the optical waveguide through the I/O port and moves to the other end of the optical waveguide toward the I/O port. |
