PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush grinding device capable of not only preventing degradation of a binding force at a tip end due to self-wear of a grinding brush, but also preventing degradation of elasticity to perform grinding work, even if an initial full length dimension of the grinding brush is relatively long. SOLUTION: A brush housing member 5 is provided, which houses the brush while covering an outer circumference of the grinding brush 3 to regulate deflection and projects the tip end of the grinding brush 3. A brush holder 2 and the grinding brush 3 in the brush housing member 5 are coupled with a brush shaft 4. A binding force varying means 8 is provided, which varies the binding force to the grinding brush 3 by scaling a diameter of a lower-end opening of the brush housing member 5. When binding of the grinding brush 3 by the binding force varying means 8 is released, the grinding brush 3 is pushed out of the brush housing member 5 by the brush shaft 4.
