An apparatus for operating a water gate is provided to facilitate the installation of water gates by adding additional gates to the water gate according to the depth of water. An apparatus for operating a water gate comprises a frame(1) and a gate(2). The frame includes a pair of vertical guide frames(11,11') and a pair of horizontal frames(12,12'). The vertical guide frames are symmetrical to each other and located two lateral sides. The horizontal frames are symmetrical to each other and located at the top and the bottom. Guide recesses(13) form on the vertical guide frames. The gate includes upper and lower gate members(21,22). The upper gate member includes a protrusions(211) and a first roller(213). The lower gate member includes a second roller(223). Both first and second rollers are a steel shaft coated with soft synthetic resin material. |
