摘要 Provided is an ultrasound diagnostic equipment which is able to charge a battery of a rechargeable ultrasound probe while suppressing lowering in examination efficiency. When the residual amount of power of the battery of the ultrasound probe falls below a threshold value Eth and it is determined to be a refresh charging timing from examination situation and the number of times of charging of the battery has reached a threshold value Nth, it is judged that refresh charging should be executed. After the battery is discharged to make the residual amount of power zero, the charging operation of the battery is executed and continued until the residual amount of power of the battery becomes a maximum value Ef. When it is not the refresh charging timing and when the number of times of charging of the battery has not reached the threshold value Nth, top-up charging is executed without discharging the battery.
