PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step absorbing plate of a scaffolding board in a working scaffold, which prevents a worker from stumbling, and enables the scaffolding board to be easily mounted on a step portion. SOLUTION: This plate 8 for absorbing the step of the scaffolding board in the working scaffold, in which the step 5 is formed on a walking surface by arranging the downside and upside scaffolding boards 3 and 3 in a superposed state on a horizontal material 2 fixed to a support arranged along the outside of a building frame, is formed of a plate body 9 made of an elastic material. The plate body 9 includes a fitting portion 10 which is fitted to the step 5 formed between the end 3' of the upside scaffolding board 3 and the top surface of the downside scaffolding board 3, an inclined tread 11 which is formed on the down grade toward the top surface of the downside scaffolding board 3 from the vicinity of an upper end of the end 3' of the upside scaffolding board 3, and a sandwiching portion 12 (locking means) which is held in a sandwiched state between the upside and downside scaffolding boards 3 and 3.
