PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition capable of keeping well the adhesion between a pattern image and a substrate while retaining both the water repellency and ink repellency of the surface of the pattern image formed.

SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises (1) an initiator, (2) a binder and (3) an ethylenically unsaturated compound, and also a fluorine-containing compound composed of (a) recurring units each having ≥3 fluorine atoms and (b) recurring units each represented by general formula (B) (wherein, R21and R22are each H or a 1-5C alkyl; L21is a single bond or bivalent organic linkage group; X is a chlorine atom, bromine atom or iodine atom; and Y is an arylene group, bivalent heterocyclic group or carbonyl group).
