A case 10 for a laptop 12 includes front and rear walls 14 and 16 manufactured from a rigid sheet material and a rigid base portion 18 interconnecting base regions of the front and rear walls 14 and 16, wherein the front wall 14 is hingedly connected to the base portion 18 to permit pivotal movement of the front wall 14 relative to the base portion 18. Collapsible side walls 20 interconnecting side regions of the front and rear walls 14 and 16 are provided, thereby defining the case 10. In use, free edge regions 22 of the front and rear walls 14 and 16 remote the base portion 18 are displaced towards each other so that the front wall 14 presents a sloped surface for receiving the laptop 12 thereon, whilst the rear wall 16 defines a support base. |
