摘要 <p>The present invention provides a system and a method for generating a pulse-width modulated (PWM) signal. The PWM signal includes a plurality of PWM pulse windows, and each PWM pulse window has one or multiple PWM pulse windows. The system comprises: a PWM pulse window definer for defining locations of each PWM pulse window; a PWM pulse period definer for defining a period of a PWM pulse of each PWM pulse window; a PWM pulse duty ratio definer for defining a duty ratio of a PWM pulse in the period; and a PWM pulse number definer for defining the number of PWM pulses in each PWM pulse window. According to the present invention, a PWM signal can be maintained for a longer time in the low level, for example, an overlapped time, which each LED turns on, can be reduced by accurately designing a PWM signal, which is used for the each LED, by making the next PWM pulse is recovered after maintaining the PWM pulse signal for a time much longer than the PWM pulse period at the low level.</p>
