<p>In the present invention, disclosed is a black box for a vehicle which can ameliorate power consumption of the black box for a vehicle. The black box for a vehicle comprises: a camera; an impact detecting sensor to detect impact of the vehicle; a motion detecting sensor to detect motion of an object within a certain distance from the vehicle; a storing unit to store image data from the camera; and a controlling unit to enter a power-saving mode when the vehicle is parked, to operate the camera while the motion of the object occurs when the motion detecting sensor determines that the motion of the object is generated based on a motion detecting signal, and to store image data photographed by the camera for a certain period of time before and after impact is generated when the impact detecting sensor determines than the impact is generated on the vehicle based on an impact detecting signal.</p> |
